I was pleasantly surprised by how well the balconette cut holds everything in place, even without the straps attached. The underwire gives a nice shape, and being able to remove the cups makes it easy to adjust the fit.

The removable foam cups are a game-changer—I took them out for a more relaxed beach day and the shape still held nicely. The balconette cut gives a really flattering lift without feeling too tight. Just wish the straps were a tiny bit longer for tall frames.

The underwire actually stays put through a whole beach day, which I didn't expect from a bandeau. Being able to switch to the multiposition straps for a quick walk made it feel like two tops in one, and the back closure sits flat under everything.
